A patchwork of blue panels that line a comfy nook on the side of this wave creation. This built-in sitting area looks like a great place to crash after a long day in the sun. To top off the space, the design team included a pool table and punching bag for boxing practice.
Uninterrupted movement is one sign of a large space, so arrange your furniture in a way that allows everyone to move easily from one area to the next. Determine how someone enters the room and where they`re most likely to go, such as to a sofa or desk chair, then arrange the furniture so people can use paths without obstruction. Make sure to allow enough space to perform tasks common to the room, such as opening and closing window coverings and reaching for light switches.
The impeccable white is interrupted here and there with splashes of purple shades. The kitchen, the dining area and the living room are connected (the doors have been eliminated), offering a unique living experience, by having a lot of space to move. Use a fireplace or mantel as a centerpiece to create a focal point in your living room. Choose a deep, rich wood or black fireplace to warm up a room and make it feel comfortable and inviting. For a light and airy vibe, pick a white or light color, such as stone or baby blue.
Create a formal conversation area as your living room`s centerpiece to warm up the space and make it a place that you will enjoy entertaining guests. Use four armchairs arranged around a light glass coffee table and add some delicate décor, such as a vase or a stack of coffee table books. To create a rich, warm ambiance, use large comfortable leather arm chairs and place a wood table between them. If you`d like to create even more seating, try arranging two different sets of arm chairs on opposite ends of a long coffee table and then situating a sofa along the length of the coffee table.
